Flexible seating options are essential to learning in my class. Small group work, circle conversational meetings, independent work, and partner work are some examples of how these chairs will support student learning. The current chairs in the classroom are aging, breaking rapidly, mismatched, and too small for the average 6th grade student. New chairs will provide a fresh look supporting a modern classroom conducive to learning. We need comfortable chairs that are light weight so that our students can sit in any chair and transport them easily. Students will take pride in their classroom and be more comfortable as they learn.
