I would love to give my first graders seating options where they can work comfortably and productively! The carpet squares will allow my kiddos to define their personal space during whole group instruction on the ground in front of the board. They will also be able to take their carpet square and find a cozy place in the classroom to complete individual work and partner enrichment. Flexible seating will allow those of my students who struggle to sit still in a traditional classroom chair all day, an opportunity to incorporate movement while they focus on their work. The wobble cushions, balance ball seats, and comfy floor seats will benefit every student in my class, but especially those who need to be able to get the wiggles out throughout the day.
