These lab supplies will help students 6-8 grade explore science safely and allow learning to come off of a computer screen and into their own hands. This year the students worked on online simulators to complete many of their lab requirements. While this is an efficient way to demonstrate scientific ideas such as Newton's Laws, chemical reactions, and the cell cycle, it is also limiting. There are set ways an online lab can be run which limits the creativity that is so critical to engaging young minds. Lab supplies are essential to the learning process and as our program builds we need to expand to meet the learning needs of our students. The lab and safety equipment listed here will put science safely in the hands of my students.
