My project will give me access to communication tools that will provide nonverbal students to communicate their wants and needs. It will also provide alternative materials for students to demonstrate what they know when paper and pencil is not an option. The learning styles of my students are very different and these tools will help me to create specific lessons and activities for them such as providing ways of communication for nonverbal students. Thank you for providing my students with the tools they need to become successful in life despite their disabilities. Every child deserves the best chance to learn as much as possible. The materials listed will help me to create colorful, durable communication boards, ELA and Math activities to support their learning. These can be created by having access to the laminating machine and color printer. The recordable buzzers will help to provide opportunities for my students to respond to activities. The outdoor materials will provide them with opportunities for outdoor/recess play, as they aren't always able to use the playground equipment.
