Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to have some movement when doing their work instead of having to stay still. When students are able to focus more on what they are learning, rather than whether or not they are potentially distracting others, they will become more productive. I believe that the way students learn is not limited physical way they learn ( visual, auditory, kinesthetic or reading/writing), It includes their entire learning environment. When students are given choice for seating, they have the opportunity to find seating where they feel comfortable. Please help me provide my students with the ability to find a seating option that works for them!
