These materials can be used everyday. For example, the Alphabet and number robots can be used for our centers. By including these robot themed alphabet and number blocks, I will be using centers as a way to connect to students' interests! For the cd player, I am hoping to incorporate more music into our lessons, to make it more engaging for students! I am so also hoping to start a classroom library, so that these kiddos can develop a love of reading. I hope to create a quiet and calm space in our classroom, where students can go and enjoy a good book (even to just look at the pictures, until they develop those strong reading skills). The carpet is intended to set a comfortable space for the students to read, as well as having a floor lamp in the library to set a calm mood. All of these items will work together to give students a fresh new start, and have the supplies and materials they need for a successful year of Kindergarten!
