In order to foster a student-centered learning community, I want to be able to offer my students flexible seating options. Flexible seating options allow students to take ownership of their learning through the power of choice. During independent work time, my students have the option of moving around the classroom to work in an area that is best for them. Currently, my seating options only allow my students to work in a desk or sit on the floor of the classroom. These wobble floor cushions will allow for students to have the ability to be more comfortable during their work time. It is my goal that having this option will help to motivate my students.
