The majority of my class came to me, reading below grade level. My #1 goal this year, is to grow their reading levels. The only way I believe this is possible, is by providing the children with books they want to read. With a class of such diverse readers, it is extremely difficult to meet the needs of all students with such few books. My goal is to expand my classroom library and make reading my student’s favorite time of the day. Several students in my class have been held back 1-2 times and are terrified daily, that they will not make it to 4th grade. Please help me help my students!
