Having these Chromebooks in my classroom will allow each student group to have a computer to assist as we explore different animals. First of all, the students would be able to do some background research on the different types of animals like reptiles, mammals, and amphibians. They will have a computer to learn how to research their animals in a safe way by using kid friendly sites like national geographic kids. And, they will be able to turn that research into wonderful presentations using software like Blabberize. Blabberize allows students to take any picture, record information, and make the picture "talk". Students can use a picture of a butterfly and make the butterfly tell it's life story (how it went through the butterfly life cycle).
