One of the main issues I find I work with my K-8 students is how to deal with stress. These manipulatives and "fidgets" will help me provide needed tools for my students that help them use positive strategies in stressful situations. Some of the items, like the beads, will give me something to put in a "cool down center" in my office for students to get themselves calmed down when their emotions are out of control, so we can talk about helpful strategies to avoid a total meltdown. I usually purchase items like these myself, but it would be great to have some help!
