My students love historical fiction and there are so many great books out there that apply directly to our curriculum! I've included books from varying reading levels and across several subjects that I teach throughout the year. We have an amazing library at our school but not a lot of history books there! History textbooks are a huge bore but my students have really latched to these historical fiction and non-fiction books that are on their reading level. Along with several books, I have included some classroom supplies to help them with their book projects such as markers and paper.
