With the help of Chromebooks, students will be able to stay engaged and participate in the lessons. Today's science classes require students to have the ability to make computer generated models, type their results and post online for other students to comment. A recent lesson lead to students diagnosing a sick teenager by running her symptoms through a computer model of the digestive and respiratory systems; through this experience students were able to see how nutrients and molecules interact on the cellular level. Internet based curricula allows for a deeper enrichment of the topics being taught in class and assists in providing students the confidence to solve the problems on their own.
