The Qball is a microphone imbedded in a soft ball. I believe that this special microphone could be very motivating for my students to encourage them to take more risks and practice their Spanish speaking skills. My students tend to excel in their listening and comprehension skills, but are often a bit more hesitant to speak in Spanish. I hope to find as many ways as possible to excite them and encourage them to speak and practice their presentational and interpersonal Spanish skills. The Qball is meant to be tossed, passed, or rolled from person to person. It amplifies students' voices and projects them throughout the room. We often practice common phrases, questions and answers, and more in our morning meeting or circle time. A fun tool such as the Qball can make this more exciting and engaging for all students.
