Since resources are so limited, we are currently using desktop computers in the classroom. I have three and they will randomly shut down when students are using them. Sometimes we will have access to internet and other times we don't so using an ethernet cord does not guarantee internet access due to poor wiring. With these new Chromebooks, students will have access to research at their fingertips - preparing them for the technology oriented world they live in. I hope to incorporate more technology based learning into my classroom as time goes on. This will improve their want to read in the classroom and love learning.
