Throughout the school year, students are participating in a variety of STEM-based, engineering projects related to our science curriculum. This year our projects included Rube Goldberg Machines, A Seed Dispersal Apparatus, and Balloon Cars. Every "engineering company" needs a storage space for materials and projects in progress. Most of our building materials come from our recycle bins. We are looking to add a plastic bin for each group, currently, 42 groups representing 6 classes. The projects would also be made much easier if we had a small toolset designed specifically for these types of projects. Tools are needed to disassemble treasures for re-purposing and the brooms will make clean-up more efficient.
