Are you from the old style of teaching? Do you just know one way to solve a problem?? If so, then come on in to my classroom. I will teach you more than one way to solve any math problem. Hands-on math is the new age! These materials will help my students grow a deeper love for math. They will have the conceptual understanding needed to travel onto 4th and 5th grade. They will be able to be problem solvers with all of their new ways of learning math. The document camera will be so useful in the classroom. I will be able to show them right away how to use the manipulatives and then the children will be able to model and show their thinking in real time. Since the document camera is technology, paper will not be needed as much! We will be saving the trees while we use our document camera. The fraction tiles are needed for the children who do not understand the concept of a whole. They need to visually see the unit of 1 and see how each part is unique. The games will be used for hands-on learning in the classroom. These games will also help the children learn how to work together and solve math problems! The children will truly enjoy these wonderful gifts, and so will I!
