The majority of the furniture in our classroom has not been updated in over 10 years. It's not inviting to children, and it simply no longer meets the needs of the students we have in our schools today. Our school is remodeling over this summer in order to adhere to the new safety regulations that are now a part of all schools. For example, our school will be getting a secure entrance where all visitors must pass through the office on their way into the building. As a result, our special education room must be moved. We have seen an increase in the need for alternative seating for kids and have witnessed the positive impact it has on their ability to focus and learn. Your donation would allow us to provide our students with wobble chairs, a sensory ball, and a learning lounger. This will give them sensory input they so often need throughout the school day.
