My students would greatly benefit from having all 15 Sunshine State Books in our classroom library this school year. This would provide them with greater access and more time to read them than if they could only get them out of the school library. This is a school wide focus, and my goal is to properly equip my students with the necessary resources to succeed. By providing my students these books, you are providing them an opportunity to read high quality, engaging literature that will be of interest to them. You are also giving them the chance to have meaningful conversations about literature based on a common list of books. Our class has a large and varied classroom library neatly organized by theme. These books would add to the variety of books in the library. My students treat the library and its books with love and care. I plan to read all of these books out loud to them throughout the year and they will also be placed in the classroom library so students can read them independently.
