Every year we see families that under normal circumstances cannot afford to get uniforms and school supplies for their children. Often students coming to school feel embarrased if they don't have the right uniform or the needed school supplies. Circumstances now have worsened for most of our families, that have been severely impacted by Covid 19 . This includes losing their job, and not being able to pay for rent, getting sick and having to pay very high medical bills, even the loss of loved ones, etc. By making these school items available for them, we are alleviating the parents and equipping the students for a strong return to school. As the wraparound specialist, I will be working with teachers and staff to identify students who would benefit from hygiene items, uniform shirts, and school supplies.

About my class
