Learning to sew will increase their awareness of self-esteem. They will have confidence in working on a project and developing skills for life. These sewing machines will enable them to piece and design whatever they can imagine. The Fashion Industry is booming. We have Project Runway and the BET awards with glamorous celebrities. These celebrities wear dramatic attire that will be posted in every fashion magazine and on social media. There is nothing more exciting than being able to use your mind and hands to create. Learning to sew will give them the high-tech aspects and innovations in Chemistry and materials science that leads to more knowledge of a new found skill. These skill that I can teach are something to use for life. Once learned, they can always be used for self and future careers in our high tech world of Fashion.

About my class
