I want students to know that learning can be fun again. I want students to walk into a room and see color and creativity. I want them to enjoy looking around the room. I want them to know that school doesn't have to stop being creative and fun. I want to print out pictures of activities throughout the year of what they are accomplishing. I want to make decorations and create boards around my classroom that inspire them and highlight their achievements. I want to build up their self-esteem again. I want them to be teenagers, even though many are taking on adult responsibilities. I chose items that would make classes fun again. I have included items to promote a more interactive learning environment. I have supplies that will help me create and acknowledge my students' strengths. I want to build my students up again. I want to implore the motto "I Don't Quit!" I think presentation is everything. I want to make sure my classroom screams: "I care about you! I will try my best but I need you to try your best!" I want them to know that I am the adult and they are allowed to be kids.
