These materials would allow for each of my students to work together through hands on, problem solving activities each morning as they arrive at school. They will have clearly labeled boxes of STEAM activities that they can choose from to work at their table groups as a team. For example, students can choose tubs full of problem solving puzzles to solve with a partner or in a group. Other tables may choose a tub with letter and word building cubes to build messages for each other. Another table group might work together to make a marble maze that beats the class record for longest maze. Morning tubs will give my students the positive, interactive, and educational start to their day that is most desperately needed in schools today. I hope that by offering my students these unique learning tools, they will develop some of the necessary skills needed to be successful in the real world today.
