Imagine walking into a busy classroom. It is just that- busy. But by adding organization to the space children are able to feel calmer in their environment and take on learning with better focus. This project will allow my students to feel safe and at home in their learning space. They will be able to gain independence and a sense of classroom ownership by knowing where their materials are located and where they belong. The cubbies will be use to store our manipulatives. We will use these manipulatives daily to help explore math concepts and explore the world around us through interactive play.
