These art supplies will give students the opportunity to make their thinking visible in creative and artistic ways. Students learn best when they are making sense of their own thinking and by making concept maps for each sub-unit. Students will be able to track what they learn and use their own creativity to track their learning. Teaching middle school science to English learners and Special Education students has taught me the importance of using various types of representations of learning. All of the materials I have requested for my project will go directly into students' hands as they demonstrate their academic growth.
