Students will design a one-of-a-kind monster. Students will use the felt as the base of their monster. Students will learn basic hand stitches using the embroidery floss. Students will make their monster unique by adding buttons and felt to create a silly, scary, happy (and anywhere in between) face! The poly-fil will be used to stuff the monsters and make them come to life! Sewing is a great way for students to practice patience as well as work on their manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination! Hand sewing is a valuable life-long skill! Thank you so much for helping my students with this project!
