Our school is one of only three elementary schools in the entire district that still has a physical library. I work my hardest every day to make the library a fun and exciting place where we can get wrapped up in characters, learn to deal with big feelings, polish our literacy skills, and overall have confidence in ourselves and our abilities! Having no book budget, many of our books are old and worn, and we rarely have new or exciting titles. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.

About my class
