My students have social and emotional needs that highly impact their ability to learn in the classroom. Each child has an individualized social-emotional goal to work towards in order to promote attention/focus, to promote appropriate interactions with others or even safety in the classroom. When the students in my classroom are calm and in control of their emotions- they can learn! These bean bag chairs will provide a sensory option in the "Cozy Corner" and will provides students with a safe place to sit in order to help them utilize coping skills when they are frustrated rather than being unsafe.
