As a new teacher, I am constantly searching for creative ways to reach all of my learners and engage them. Daily, students are using our school set of iPads to enhance both their math and literacy skills. This happens in both small and whole group learning times. The programs students use to assist them with some of the language barriers we encounter by reading questions to the students. This becomes a challenge when multiple students are trying to engage with these programs at the same time. Having a class set of headphones will empower and enable the students in my class to learn freely, at a "just right" level for them, and in a creative and exciting way. I believe that all students should have access to learning that is safe, fun, and challenging. These headphones will continue to grow that desire in my classroom on a daily basis.
