Students will have daily access to books. I want to motivate kids to read. There is no better way to do this other than to have books at their fingertips, in the classroom. Students are assigned reading time 4 nights a week. Getting the students to the library does not always work, so a classroom library is needed. I want to have informed thinkers in my classroom! The subscription would help keep my students up to date on what is going on in the world around them. Too many teenagers do not know what is going on around them. These handouts will also give the students more opportunities to practice their writing skills.
