The EVO ozobots that I hope to acquire for our school will help our students to increase computational thinking and computer science related skills. Being in a rural area, while technology is prominent, we are using code, but not creating it. So many students can consume code, but do not know how to write or create it. With these ozobots not only can I start with Kindergarten in helping them how to think about problems and ways to come to a solution with the color line coding, but I can help increase skill with the ability to flash color code on the computer. This will be a great asset as I see these students throughout their educational career at our school. This is the easiest way to be able to incorporate increasing skill levels for students as they progress in their own learning of code, which Ozoblockly allows for increasing difficultly levels through its program. This is also easy to maintain materials as after the initial purchase the programs and update software is included.
