First graders need an engaging way to start their day! I plan on using these materials for "Good Morning Bins." I want students to use their creativity and energy in a positive way in the morning. Students will come into the classroom, put their things away, and grab a bin to share with a partner. They will then work together to create while I take attendance. These materials will also double as manipulatives that can be used during literacy and math stations. I purposefully chose manipulatives that students can also learn from while having fun and working with others. These bins will promote collaborative learning within my classroom. I will rotate through the materials to ensure that children are provided with an engaging experience.
