Right now we only have one robot and no accessories. With the addition of two more robots and the accessories/kits, we'll be able to enhance the students experiences with Computer Science. Through the use of the robots/accessories, we will help students understand the CS principles they already use in classes (science/writing) that have processes. We also will introduce new principles and give them a chance to experience them in fun and creative ways, even if they are limited to which classes they will be able to use the robots. Our goal is to boost enthusiasm for Computer Science, create long-term inquiry, and along the way provide a positive environment for our students. I know, without a doubt, if we are supplied two more robots and the accessories, we can make a difference in some (maybe not all) students and their positive environment in our school.
