The five Lakeshore Learning wobble chairs that I am requesting will give students in my science classroom an alternative seating option while working independently and in small groups. Research shows that elementary age students benefit from movement and choice in their learning. Incredibly, these wobble stools will give students both! From my past experience, allowing students to choose their seating helps them feel independent enough to take ownership with their behavior and learning. I’ve also seen the benefit of movement and it’s affect on the ability to focus. I can’t wait to see my wiggly fourth graders using these stools to learn and work on their projects in class!
