My students and I will use the chart paper to create anchor charts that assist in learning and meeting second-grade standards. The small post-it notes will be used by individuals and by groups to add thoughts and opinions about the given topic. The students will feel a sense of ownership and pride seeing their work and thoughts added to the classroom for reference later. The charts will be posted around the classroom and will be able to be easily moved to facilitate the students learning in all academic areas. The students will be able to refer back to these charts during independent work and assessment.
