While learning about the conflict between East and West Berlin through the reading of "The Wall," students will begin to delve into the lives and hardships of the citizens of Czechoslovakia after World War II. As of now, the only additional resources available are online videos and articles. Being able to see and touch an actual piece of the Berlin Wall would be a learning experience that these students would not forget. Having additional books on the Berlin wall in our classroom would allow for students to look into different view points and opinions on the topic. These additional books would also be added to our classroom library for students to read at their leisure.
