The C-Pen Reader pens will allow my special education students to independently complete any assignments/tests that require reading. The C-Pen reader allows students to simply pass the pen across a word/sentence and it instantly reads the words aloud. The pen works on workbook pages, textbooks, worksheets, etc. Instead of waiting on a teacher to read the text to them, they can use the C-pen reader to work at their own pace. This device will assist teachers in providing the read aloud accommodation that many students have in their IEP's. This assistive technology will be a great asset to non-readers, struggling readers, and students with dyslexia to be able to independently access the same content as their non-disabled peers.
