Help me give my students equitable individual access to a headset to assist them in using and creating robust and meaningful digital media in a blended project-based STEM classroom. My Students I have amazingly talented, hardworking, and creative students who are masters and owners of their learning. They are active 21st century natives who learn best through hands-on, visual, audio, coding and STEM related activities/projects. Students will use their headsets almost daily to access a plethora of digital content in my STEM based classroom. As hands-on and project based learners, my students will not only access audio and video files via Canvas, but they will learn how to create, edit, and safely share these resources. My students will learn how to become an active and respectful multimedia and digital content creator. By using digital tools like iMovie/Audacity/Google Presentations/EdPuzzle/Quizizz/Nearpod etc., my students will dictate their own learning. They will individualize their instruction by selecting what modules they need to watch or listen to (repeating certain sections as needed) and then provide necessary feedback. Ultimately, this digital tool allows students to become a diverse digital citizen while adding to their multimedia repertoire.
