Using iPads will allow my students to be actively engaged with technology. They will be able to touch and swipe the screen, rather than be manipulated to push a key or mouse. The devices can also be positioned more effectively for viewing by my students with physical challenges. My students will be able to choose a task, identify letters and numbers, communicate requests, and play games with technology. They can be more independent and more easily communicate their choices. Right now, the technology we have, desktops or chromebooks, is not effective for their individual needs, because they cannot maneuver the mouse or keyboard.

About my class
