The computers I have now are old desktops that use a mouse. The students today are used to touch technology. I teach kindergarten and my students do not have the fine motor ability to grasp a mouse and manipulate the cursor on the screen. They are used to using their parents phone as a computer, because that is the only technology in the home most of the time. We have special computer programs for students who are struggling academically and struggling with a mouse is very frustrating for them. With these iPads my students will be able to succeed in their lessons and research topics of interest to them.
