Green Team Club would like to establish a monarch garden station in our school. While we are waiting for the milkweeds to be delivered to us, we would need some supplies to make the plants grow healthily and have a successful monarch garden. Some of the needed materials are garden compost, slow release fertilizer, straw or hay mulch, and digging tools for planting. Once this garden is established, we expect to see migrating monarchs adapting the place as their home where they can eat and lay their eggs. For students whose mascot is the monarch, it is only fitting that they get to see, learn, and be familiar with these amazing insects.
