I teach K-2 PE to a very diverse group of students. We do not have a gym, only a small room that we have to fit almost 50 kids in daily. My partner and I are very creative when it comes to our lesson plans but we are very short on space and equipment. This past year we taught a gymnastics lesson where the kids were able to do balance beam, bear crawls, and forward rolls. Some of the students got upset because they were not able to get to all of the stations because we only had two mats. With the four mats I asked for, all students should be able to participate and enjoy the fun of tumbling in PE gymnastics!
