By donating to this project, you will help my students really hone in on becoming a 21st century learner. They will be able to engage with one another and learn to collaboratively solve problems by having to listen and understand another's view point. My fifth graders' engagement will soar to new heights, and they will be better prepared for Junior High! Ultimately, this will increase their overall academic achievement, because they can be used for all subjects in a variety of ways! Having the Chromebooks will also allow me to scaffold to my lower learners in a way that is respectful and private. As a former computer teacher, I'm looking forward to creating cross-curricular projects that are fun and engaging, yet provide the rigor and relevance to help them grow academically.
