My class is learning about financial literacy. My friends love learning about coins and bills. This grocery store will be used in a weekly center rotation. In this center, they will become familiar with the concept of money and how to use it. A Melissa and Doug grocery store will help my students learn about money in a fun and meaningful way! These items will help my students learn how to count money, add, subtract, and very valuable social skills. My students will also learn better communication skills by working together. My littles learn best from hands on activities and this would add to their classroom experience.
