These materials will help my students by offering them choices and flexibility in their learning. The comfortable classroom will allow them to expand their focus in creative ways while making them feel at home, safe, and adventurous. The idea for flexible seating will make my classroom feel like a home away from home for the children that need it most. The difficulty of a safe learning environment is paramount to the emotional and intellectual development in children. The importance cannot be overstated for children of Title I campuses as many children lack the safety and protection of a stable life so many call ordinary.
