With this grant, I am asking for alternative/flexible seating. This will allow students to have a variety of seating choices. I am asking for wobble chairs, ankle weights and floor desks. Students using these items will benefit greatly. Research shows that students that are able to move, sit comfortably and feel grounded, tend to focus and are more engaged while learning. We are also asking for seat discs. By getting these seating options, students are able to choose their seating for the day, which encourages smart seating choices to help meet their needs. I am excited for my students and the potential growth in their independence.
