My dream is that all of my students become accurate and fluent readers. By using the Wilson Reading System along with a variety of texts and workbooks (Dog on a Log, Orton Gillingham) that support The Science of Reading, my students will have access to materials that support their developmental needs. Students will experience increased confidence because they will be able to choose books that are catered to their individual needs and various stages throughout their multi-sensory instruction in reading, writing, and spelling. My students will have the opportunity to share these books with their families and demonstrate their improved reading skills.
