Students today are not built for traditional desks and chairs. They want to move, talk and jiggle. Using flexible seating in a classroom gives them the chance to do this in a structured non-distracting way. Each item on this list will be used as a seating option in the classroom. Students will have options of how they sit that day and work from that seat in lieu of a traditional desk. Students are in charge of their learning. By having flexible seating in a classroom the students have a choice in how they are going to learn that day. It also provides them leadership and decision making skills.
