This book is a great reference for students. It is creative, cute, and fun format that is both easy to read and informative. The illustrations are fun and easy to follow. This book follows the Texas 8th grade standards in science for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. With having a class set, students will be able to follow and read at their own pace as well as with the class. After each chapter there are 'check your answers' section so that students may check their own comprehension of their understanding and reading. The key concept words are highlighted and illustrated to help students understand the meaning. It may help inspire them to have a neat and orderly notebook to show how it helps to be organized.
