I am combining my art and school counseling backgrounds to create a space for my students that allows them to be their best artists. We are not all built to sit at a table with a hard chair to be our best. Some prefer to stand, sit on something squishy, lay down, or have something heavy sitting on their lap. Creating a space that allows them to feel comfortable will allow them to express themselves freely and grow in academics and personally as well. My school budget provides for the tangible supplies to create physical art, but that is all. I want to expand my environment to take into about all the needs of my kids but am unable to do so with out some outside help. I personally have invested a lot in organizational components and alternative lighting but I would love to take my environment a step further with your help!
