Alternative seating is something that is very important in my classroom. My student have very energetic little bodies and some impulse control issues, so having a way to get those wiggles out is very important in helping optimize their learning. I think these rockers will be a fun classroom addition. Students can either work toward earning the chance to use this seating or it can be something I can offer when I notice a student is particularly struggling with sitting still. My students love animals and our jungle themed classroom. Having animal themed activities and features in the classroom has helped them focus more and be more interested in the lessons.
